The German market
Germany is one of the largest business services markets in the European Union. The economy runs on the Mittelstand: medium-sized, internationally active companies that are chronically short of specialists and structurally underserved by providers built for enterprise procurement.

Almost every larger outsourcing decision touches co-determination, and in practice the works council consultation is frequently the most time-critical part of the engagement. Almost no provider says anything useful about it.
We do not advise you on your co-determination obligations, which is for your lawyers. We supply the documentation a works council legitimately wants to see: delivery model, data protection position, the scope of the outsourced work and employment impact, in writing and in German. On one engagement that shortened a consultation from an expected several months to nine weeks.
