Austria
Austria: in the Union, with its own character.
For Austrian clients the EU perimeter argument holds unchanged. What differs is market character and business norms, not the fundamental legal position.

The Austrian market
Austria is a market with a strong industrial and Mittelstand character and close ties to Germany and Central Europe. Clients expect the same precision as in Germany, but additionally value continuity of contacts and a formal, dependable tone.
For Austrian clients we deliver from the same German-language locations, frequently from Bielsko-Biała, whose decades of industrial ties reach into Austria as much as into Germany.
Data protection and supervision
Austria is a member of the European Union. The GDPR applies directly, together with the Austrian Data Protection Act, with the Data Protection Authority as supervisor. The AI Act, DORA, the NIS2 requirements and the accessibility obligations attach as they do in Germany. The Corpshore EU perimeter argument therefore holds unchanged.
Contracting arrangements
The contracting structure follows the same logic as in Germany: a point of contact for the Austrian market, European and global delivery, with Poland as the intra-EU location without third-country transfer and the remaining locations as secured and documented third countries.
Business norms
In formal Austrian business correspondence, academic titles continue to carry weight and are used in salutation and address. Our German-language teams are trained to strike the Austrian tone without lapsing into a German or a dialect register.
